Zoya Pixie-Dust Swatches and Review part 2.....

Happy Hump Day Lovelies......Today I have part 2 of Pixie-Dust collec to show you. I followed Zoya's directions and added no base coat, waited 2 minutes in between coats to let dry, I did use 3 coats of topcoat to show you what they look like shiny and I of course had to add a design. These again remind me of Gumdrops.....Enjoy =)

NYX- Beautiful Periwinkle sparkle, 4 coats for full coverage, very thin/watery formula, dry time for her was over 30 minutes.
Topcoat
Stamped with Konad large image plate using Konad white

Vespa- Mint green sparkle, 3 coats for full coverage, formula on her was also thin/watery, dry time was about 20 minutes.

Godiva- Nude sparkle, 3 coats for full coverage, another thin/watery formula, dry time was about 20 minutes with her also.

Topcoat
Since Godiva reminds me of light sand, the poem Footprints came into my head, so this design is inspired by that. I free-handed using brown acrylic paint and added white paint to make it lighter for some areas.

I know I said I was "meh" about this collection but since I have been wearing London for 4 days and its kinda growing on me, the polish has lasted 4 days with only slight tip wear. These 3 polishes were tricky to work with though, the formula was so thin that I had to add more layers and that's why the dry time was so long. Other then that, the look and feel are the same as part 1. Hope you enjoyed and I helped with any questions, if not please contact me for your's =)

Pixie-Dust polishes are now available at Zoya.com for $9.00 USD

Thanks for looking!!

  1. Man, that really sucks about dry time!! I'm always so impatient I would probably mess it up three times LOL :)). I really really LOVE your nail art!!!
